SIM International Academy offers the Cambridge IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) to students aged 12 to 16. It also plans to offer the Cambridge International A Levels in the future. Both programmes are developed and awarded by Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), UK.
Our curriculum is designed to focus on applied learning in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and the Humanities. Taught by faculty experienced in local and international curricula, students will be nurtured to become Curious Learners, Community Builders and Creative Leaders.
Beyond academics, students’ learning experience will be enriched through co-curricular activities, service-learning as well as a specially-tailored boarding programme.
SIM International Academy’s boarding facilities are situated in a quiet and leafy neighbourhood ten minutes away from the SIM campus. The facilities consist of three low buildings (four to five-storeys each) set in a lush tropical garden. The buildings are specially designed to let in plenty of natural light and ventilation.
Boarders will stay in 2, 3 or 4-person rooms, and all rooms are air-conditioned and have attached bathrooms. Laundry and ironing services are provided three times per week; bus transfers to and from the SIM campus will also be provided on all school days. Boarders can make use of the recreational facilities at the boarding school, including the running track, sports field, basketball courts, and music practice rooms.
