As a relatively young College, Kardinia has developed an outstanding reputation in the local and international educational community for providing a unique, all through schooling experience which is based on the living motto of the College:

This motto is the energising source of all College activity and is embedded in the ethos of the College, the challenging and personalised curriculum we offer and the relationships we develop with our College community, our local community and the wider educational community.

The word “Kardinia” is a Tasmanian Aboriginal word which means “sunrise” or “new beginning”.
